Kingdom Servers

Welcome to September!

Can you smell the fall in the air?

Do you have pumpkin spice lattes on the mind as a way to unwind?

Have you started your fall decorating or decluttering or cleaning regimen?

It’s back to school time and I sure do love to rhyme.

Starting Monday, I’m going to feature two of the following local businesses every week, for I love them and value what they bring to our community so much.

Week One: Serve & Storehouse

Week Two: VGP Gourmet Market and The Cat’s Meow

Week Three: The Vine and Southern Charm

Week Four: Belmont Peanuts and Franklin Hometown Pharmacy

Each one of these businesses has partnered with this idea of giving. To start, Coldwell Banker and I will be giving $100 to the owners for them to use to be a kingdom server by blessing a customer or customers. I would love to increase this amount, which would allow them to love on more customers throughout the month of September in a serving way.

Look for the flyer with the #KingdomServers and bucket to give.

There has been so much happening in our community and this is just one small way to give back to some of the businesses that have helped us get through this pandemic. Each one of them has played a part in their hometown goodness way, from serving ice cream, to hot wings, coffee, and some of the best sandwiches around. These businesses have helped the morale of our town keep from having a frown.

I would love for you to sow into them, for they have been such a blessing. Just having them as a place to park has been so healing to my heart.

Just to bring home this initiative its two-fold. One is to acknowledge the blessing of having these businesses as a part of our local community. Two is that sowing into others blesses you too. Your giving is pushing a blessing forward so these businesses can bless another customer. It’s anonymous. You don’t just come in and have to give. You receive not just by eating or shopping, but by being covered by another. Happy shopping, eating, and receiving. There is so much goodness in giving.

Until next time,

Stay Tender.

Connect to the Mender.

Be a Sender.
