OUR WW TEAM

Micah N. Dillon
Founder | Chief Executive Officer
Micah is a speaker, author, artist, songwriter, musician, and founder of The Widow Walk. In 2017, Micah woke up to find her husband of 13 years, Ben, unconscious in the shower. He had died of a heart attack. As the mother of two young children, Micah had to continue life without her husband and rediscover her identity, purpose, and worth. In the aftermath of her husband’s passing, Micah wrote a book, My Mended Heart, documenting God’s work to mend the gaps in her life and empower her to send goodness to others. This sending has now become Micah’s mission, and she’s shared her story with a number of audiences through her books, speaking events, and music with the goal of continuing to connect others to the Great Mender.

Judy Hawkins Dunn is a devoted Jesus-loving wife, widow, mother, and grandmother who has dedicated her life to nurturing others. Judy is married to Drew Dunn and together they share six children, four bonus children and four grandchildren. As an educator at Southwestern Elementary School, she has a passion for teaching reading and inspiring young minds to develop a lifelong love for books and learning. Outside the classroom, Judy is an avid lover of nature, with a particular fondness for plants, flowers and gardening which brings her joy and peace. When she isn’t tending to her plants, knitting, or crocheting, she can be found with a cup of tea in hand and cherishing quality time with her family. Judy loves to sing and play the piano and worship the Lord. Currently, her favorite getaway is the serene beaches of Cape Charles, where she finds peace, tranquility and rejuvenation.
Judy has a passion for the widow and widower, especially since her husband Glen of 31 years passed away in 2014 after a battle with melanoma cancer. She suddenly found herself on a journey in the unknown territory of widowhood. She has made it her mission to care for these often forgotten members of our communities.
With a heart full of love and a passion for God, family, education and nature, Judy is a woman of resilience and grace, balancing her many roles with devotion and joy.
