This Year is the Year of MORE heART

Welcome to 2022!!

I don’t know if you are a word for the year kind of person, but I have been pondering it for a few weeks now. I was pretty close to locking down the word MORE. Then yesterday, in our church tradition, our pastor does what we call the state of the flock address. It was a day of reflection on all God has done over the past year and beyond. When he finally came to the conclusion of the service, he gave the theme:

2022 - The God of More!

Yeah, I like that. 😍

So, I have been thinking how can I bring you, Menders, more?

Starting next Monday, we are going to be releasing 100 days of quotes and journal prompts. During Covid, I put together a supplement to My Mended Heart book and I think it’s time to start releasing this content out into the atmosphere for all of you to enjoy. It’s simple. If you have the book, or even if you don’t, we will be posting it online as a downloadable PDF for you to have at your leisure. This will only take around 10 minutes if your time each day. This is a perfect mindfulness exercise and I think you will be surprised at what might pour out on the page. It has been a game changer for my life in processing and connecting within my heart. It’s my desire to help others get unlocked in this way as well. Don’t over think it. Write the first thing that comes to mind. There is no right or wrong way to answer these questions. This is a tool to do a deep dive within your heart. It’s so worth finding out what it has to say. It’s a guide like no other and I have found the best adventures have come forth from following it. Creativity, divine guidance, clarity and comfort seem to be some of the benefits I have seen from these happy journal prompts.

If you are new to this journal thing, just give it a week and see what you think. I don’t know if you noticed this before, but the word heart has the word art in it. So, I leave this ❤️ word with you:

This year is the year of MORE heART!

Until next time,

Stay tender

Connect to the Mender

Be a sender

P.S. If you didn't know, I released a song on YouTube called More. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYSnP4PZbJ0

I hope you enjoy!!!
