"Death isn’t a surprise to our Creator. It doesn’t thwart His good plan. He already defeated death, and because of that, He uses things like death and loss for good (see Genesis 50:20). From His eternal perspective, even in death, there is still His goodness, mercy, and grace. When we take on that eternal perspective ourselves, we begin to see the gains instead of just the losses. We set our feet on a firm, unchanging foundation."
