We are beginning a series called Being a Watchman. First up is Captain Tommy Potter (and today is his birthday!)
After 27 years of service, he has come to know that hope can co-exist with adversity. Standing in the gap for others after tragedy doesn't always mean having the answers, but making yourself present during the grief.

What a great interview -- I took notes! I was resonant with much of this, both in terms of my own grief jouirney, but also with the service of our watchmen. So, Tommy: THANK YOU! (...for what you do, yes, but perhaps especially for who you are, in Christ, in your service and in your witness.)
