With his experience, he has come to find that being a watchman is not about fighting all of the battles, but being present with others as they process their anger, tears, and even laughter.

With the perspective of its being several years following my own loss, I see this interview as a fundamental guide for those of us who grieve. It was true for me that in being the primary caregiver for my terminally ill wife, I was not "ready" to witness her final breath; but most fortunately, the Holy Spirit immediately filled me with Peace and Joy at the blessings I had been given all those years and that continued for me in many ways. And I soon benefitted greatly from several devotionals, a favorite of which was Micah's "My Mended Heart" ...in which one of the most helpful inspirations for me was the thought that "In the sending comes the mending" -…
